SWMS templates for every Australian state and territory
Seven jurisdictions run the harmonised WHS laws with their own tweaks; Victoria runs its own OHS system. The Act, the fall height, the project threshold and even the section numbers change at the border. Pick yours.

Why the differences matter
In 2026 alone: New South Wales is now on a 2025 Regulation, South Australia dropped its fall trigger from 3 m to 2 m and runs a $450,000 project threshold, the Northern Territory lifted its threshold to $1 million and raised the residential fall trigger to 3 m, and Western Australia counts heads on site rather than dollars. A template that gets any of those wrong gets you a notice from the inspector, not a pass.
